Pictures from the CCD Show!

It was a wonderful night at the Sherwood Auditorium in La Jolla. The evening opened with Virginia-raised but now SD local Chris Clarke. Chris brought a wonderful group of friends that included a standup bass player, violinist and banjo player. These guys don't normally play together but they sounded as if they've been playin' for years. Chris and the violinist also introduced interesting stories that carried through the night.

As Chris Clarke and Friends left the stage, our concert promoter Kyle McCarthy entered and thanked everyone for attending and making the evening a success. After a few remarks he introduced the headliner Carolina Chocolate Drops and wow weren't disappointed. For the next couple hours we were entertained with heart-warming stories and song.

About midway through the show, CCD introduced 2 other local performers. One gentleman played the mouth harp (a.k.a jaw or Jew's harp) and bodydrums (a.k.a. hambone kneeslap) and the other gentleman spoons. These guys were simply a blast. They are local guys in San Diego so be sure to catch them.

We will provide more of an update of the show in a week or so but in the meantime, we wanted to share photos of the concert.
